The Doctrine of the Trinity wasn't finalized and officially established as Christian orthodoxy until the First Council of Constantinople in 381 AD. That's a really long time. So generations of Jesus' first followers did not believe in the Trinity and therefore were not saved? I struggle with that idea.

One correction i am pretty sure the 95% is with kids and teenagers were the study groups. Not Adults. People extrapolate that out but adults I dont think is as high.

Senior Pastor for 18 years here. Several years ago, one of our Associate Ps was arrested for online solicitation of minor. Here's what I'll say: be fully transparent, advise appropriate leadership groups quickly, get in front of it, stay in front of it, and pray. We had two "open forum" meetings--everything we knew was disclosed, the process of dismissal, etc. Despite this...there will still be blow back and criticism as to how you handle it. Not a fun season.

It's good to see that your eyes at remnant radio have finally opened to the deception within the church and how the ennemy is working through the NAR, word of faith, prosperity gospel and bringing the ecunemical movement together, going hand in hands with false religion like the mormons or roman catholic church. I stopped watching your channel in the last year or more because you were endorsing those falses teachers, false teachings, erratic leaders etc... I understand that your channel is about interviewing leaders etc...from all type of churches and denominations. However, its important also to denonce the lies, errors and abuse within the world wide church and in doing so helping to protect the church. So I might start watching it again from time to time, now that you have grown more Spiritual discernement. I pray that God continues to give you Godly wisdom, Spiritual knowledge & understanding which will leads you in greater Spiritual discernment. I was an 18 year old who was groomed by Mike Bickle as well. Not super comfortable talking about it but it definitely really fked up situation.

I was around when they were around, and everyone was exclusive and there was a lot of nepotism at that time.

After each new scandal comes to the surface, do any of you, just sit and wonder how on earth did these sinful leaders NOT have a fear of God, while KNOWING full well what the Bible says about them? With each new scandal, I just sit there with my mouth wide open, my heart broken, and then DEEPLY think about how could they possibly do this in the name of God? I mean, of all places to do your “bidding” and you choose the church, under the God you are preaching about and studying about your whole life? These guys know what the Bible says and what’s going to happen to them. I just can’t wrap my head around it. It’s on a whole other level. “It’s better to be at the bottom of an ocean with a millstone around your neck.” … I guess they just skip over that verse!

Yesterday I was looking back in a notebook where I write out what I feel the Lord highlights, including occasional dreams. One I had on 12/9/23 I wrote about a dream about movements/parades of people that were filling a street, 2 groups that were either for or against Israel. IHOP had some of their people there in support of Israel. That group had a video of a slightly older (60s) black man giving a testimony saying he had been unexpectedly laid off from social service work in Kansas City a couple of years ago, but it turned out to be the best that ever happened to him ,because it freed up his time(end of dream). The next day on 12/10/23 I found out about the Mike Bickle accusations and of course I never would have thought it all would snowball to where things are now. I have followed IHOP since the inception and even before, as I was a part of the Vineyard movement in the late 1980s. Currently, I feel very disappointed as I had hoped to see God do great things there as well as in the prophetic movement that was a blessing to Vineyard at that time,but now it all seems like such a mess. I wanted to put this dream out there (although I'm very private and would prefer not to) to encourage anyone, especially who have been directly part of the movement or supported it. I believe the gist of the dream is that God is sovereign and allows things to happen because He sometimes has other plans for us, even if it makes us uncomfortable or perplexed at first, much like when God allowed the early Church (see Acts chapter 8) to scatter throughout the nations after being persecuted severely in Israel. May He lead the sincere, heartbroken ones to where He would have us go as we follow Him. He is certainly bigger and greater and worthy to be above and beyond and of these movements that come and go. He says come and follow me

If you keep your eyes on Jesus, and put him first, you'll be okay. I realize we are human, but that's what the Bible is for. I had to learn to speak against unChristlike behavior if I see it in our local church policy, and it's not easy. But, find your Biblical foundation for what you believe is happening, and realize that YOUR reputation is not as important as the reputation of Jesus! Have courage and let Perfect love chase away the fear. On the other side of this, hopefully, there will be a lot of repenting and faith in God is going to win out. We do not want Satan to be able to win by accusing people of being unworthy of repentance. I love that all the ladies could take responsibility for their own part in supporting something that wasn't Godly. Oh, my how Jesus loves us all, mistakes aside. He died for those of us who are not perfect (all of us) and we need to rejoice that when he died on the cross, this was finished. We just haven't seen the end yet, but it IS finished.

Roughed western individualism means we are not part of a group becasue people are individuals.When folks group people in to the good group and the bad group its de humanizing. Relative reality or Peter Pant fantasy thinking is not rouged western individualism.

"Trust" is not the issue: Discernment is the issue. If you cannot discern the light from the dark, you can't trust anyone. And that is not bad. It protects you from trusting evil. Discern, then trust the light and call the dark what it is.

I’ve only listened to a little bit of this, but as a former student/staff member I’m relating so well to what I’m hearing from these amazing women. I left home in 2012, moved 1000 miles away, and gave so much of my life to this place. When all was said and done and I left I don’t think anyone said thank you for anything. Dozens of hours spent serving with my musical skills in the prayer room over 6 years and it was like I had never been there. That’s the short version and I know my story is not as tragic as some have shared, but after 6 years of being away from that place it is still a place of contention in my spiritual life. The Lord is good and has compassion on me, but it’s been a rough road. Thank you all for sharing

I agree with what she said at 1:1944' mark. and I quote it the way I heard it. "We are all justified by Christ , but that does not mean we are all qualified to be leaders". I think we see the church issues, because we assume anyone with a gift can also be a leader (administrator, teacher, pastor etc.) when leadership (teaching, administration) are all gifts in and of itself.

Thanks to the amazing women here, as a former ihop staffer I relate very much to their experiences. You don't know what you don't know, and many of us did not know what we were experiencing was abusive. Thank you for opening up this very important topic, because at the end of the day how we treat people tells us more about our theology than what we say.
